Danielle Casós

Mezzo-soprano Danielle Casós currently lives in Ann Arbor where she is completing her Specialist of Music degree at the University of Michigan. Most recently, Danielle sang the leading role of Esperanza in Michigan’s orchestral workshop of The House on Mango Street. In October, Danielle joined the Sandford Studio Artist program at Kentucky Opera in their production of Madama Butterfly, performing the role of Kate Pinkerton and covering the role of Suzuki. In March, Danielle will sing in UMich’s MainStage production of Turn of the Screw as Mrs. Grose.

While at the University of Michigan, Danielle has performed the roles of Elizabeth Cree in Elizabeth Cree (2024), Zerlina in Don Giovanni (2023), and Fox in Cunning Little Vixen (2022). Danielle joined the Bonfils-Stanton Studio Artist Program at Central City Opera in 2023 and was a Lehrer Institute Vocal Fellow at the Music Academy of the West in 2022.
